The holidays are over... but the sugar rush continues. I'll have to add weight loss to my new year's resolutions, I'm afraid.
We had a fabulous Christmas (four different times, actually). We are truly blessed! I hope you had a great holiday, too!
And now we're settling back into the old routine. A few people have asked me if I went to the after-Christmas sales, but I didn't. I was too exhausted and we really didn't need anything. I should have been looking for gifts for next year, but I just couldn't get started that early. I may take a look tomorrow when I am in town to see if there's anything left.
Did any of you find great deals after Christmas?

I did go to the after Christmas sales - I'm not sure what possessed me. I think we thought it would be funny. A couple of things to note:
*there were sales - but not really any different than a regular sale (at Herberger's and Kohls) - unless you are counting Christmas decorations, cards, etc.
*Though it is crazy, going when they open (6am) is quiet and not nearly as overwhelming as it is at 7:30.
I did end up getting a christmas gift (one of our christmases is on new year's weekend) on sale and with a coupon at Kohls... I was proud that I saved about 15 dollars on the Dirt Devil cone hand vac thing my sister-in-law asked for. Thanks for the encouragement Northern Cheapskate!
I don't think I need to do the day after Christmas sales again.
