We had over TWO FEET of snow at our house this weekend! We’re buried!
Fortunately, the college where my husband teaches closed for the day so he didn’t have to go anywhere. Not that he could have gone anywhere. We can’t even get out of our garage.
Not even a Ford F-150 4×4 can handle the massive amount of heavy, wet snow that’s been dumped on us. The entire region was hit by upwards of 20 inches of snow. We could be stuck here for awhile. Hopefully the county will come and plow us out soon.
A snow event like this reminds me how grateful I am that I have a well-stocked pantry. I have plenty of staples and sundries to last us quite awhile. It’s a nice to know we can do our shoveling and playing in the snow with no worries.
