The Best Toys for Kids

I’ll be the first to admit, my kids have a LOT of toys. You can’t even walk through our family room right now.

I’ve learned that the best toys for kids aren’t even toys that do stuff. Sometimes they’re not even toys. The best toys are toys that stimulate a child’s mind and encourage their imaginations.

Wood blocks, legos, arts and crafts, dolls (that don’t make noise), are all great options.

Note that these are all frugal, too. When you buy toys that don’t need batteries, that don’t need accessories, you will save money. When you buy toys that provide hours upon hours of entertainment, you’re not wasting money on a child’s whim or useless media hype.

And most kids would rather just play with the box, anyway.

Something to think about as you shop this holiday season…
