I don’t get much free time to read books, but I do love reading other blogs, and so I thought I’d share some of my favorite reads this week with you.
My awesome hubby got me a Nintendo Wii for my birthday. I have been wanting a Wii for the longest time. So either my husband got the hint, or maybe he read this post from Money Ning: Why My Nintendo Wii is My Best Investment of the Year.
Kevin at No Debt Plan asks the question “Should You Support Local Businesses at All Costs?” I think about this very topic because I live in a rural area. The less local shopping I do, the fewer stores will remain in my area. It’s hard to put that up against wanting to get the best price.
No Credit Needed has a great list of 10 Steps to Escaping the Paycheck to Paycheck Cycle.
Katelyn at Simply Thrifty gave me a much needed reminder to pay attention to the question “Are you Thrifty with Your Time?”
Money Saving Mom had an interesting guest post by Hannah and Abby from Safely Gathered In
about Building an Emergency Fund with Food.
And finally, since I have cookies on the brain, I enjoyed Home Ec 101‘s post The Sisterhood of the Traveling Cookies: Which Cookies Ship the Best.
