Just in time for spring, I got a chance to read a copy of Thelma Meyer’s new book, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Home: No-Nonsense Advice that Will Inspire You to CLEAN like the DICKENS.
I’ll confess: I’m not known for my cleaning skills. I was raised by a mom who had a cross-stitched sign in her kitchen that read “Dull Women Have Immaculate Homes.” I’ve got better things to do than clean!
That’s why I really enjoyed Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Home. It’s chock-full of all kinds of tips on how to clean just about everything in your home. In addition to cleaning tips, she’s got advice for how to keep your home office organized, dealing with pet odors, tips for taking care of your kitchen knives. This is a very comprehensive book – perfect for those new to housekeeping, as well as veterans who’d like to learn a new trick or two.
Memories and stories from Meyer and her nine grown children brighten up the book and reminded me that I’m not too busy to clean. I love the tone of the book – it’s like your grandmother sitting down with you and giving you household tips.
And now for the best part: I’m giving away not one, but FIVE copies of Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Home book to my readers.
This giveaway is only open to U.S. residents who are 18 years and older. Only one entry per household, please. Duplicate entries will be deleted!
