When you download the e-reader to an iPhone, iPod Touch, or PC, you’ll get two free classic e-book downloads: The Last of the Mohicans and Sense and Sensibility.
Then when you sign into your account at Barnes and Noble (or create a new, free account), you’ll also be able to download the following books for free:
- Dracula
- Pride and Prejudice
- Little Women
- Merrian-Webster’s Pocket Dictionary
If you’re downloading the e-reader to your BlackBerry, you’ll only get the four books listed above. However, when I installed the e-reader on my BlackBerry, I also got “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” for free, so you’ll just have to try it to see what happens.
The Barnes and Noble website doesn’t say which e-books (if any) you’ll get when you download the e-reader to a Mac.
