What the Cheapskate is Reading

So much to read… and so little time.  Thankfully, if it’s online, it’s probably free!

Here are a few of the things I’ve been reading lately:

One of the most frugal things you can do is pass clothes down from an older child to a younger one.  Check out Create a Clothing Inventory at Common Sense with Money for great ideas for keeping track of what you have.

I never did get around to planting a garden this year… or well, planting anything except for my rear into the couch!  Thankfully, I got to read the post Final Square Foot Gardening Update at $5 Dinners and now I am inspired to do things differently next year!

I also enjoyed 10 Attributes of the Perpetually Broke at Bible Money Matters.  Trust me, you know people who live like this. Hopefully you’re not one of them.

I’ve also made a few guest appearances.  Want to know a little bit more about me? Read my Twitter Tuesday profile at Out of Debt Christian.

I signed on as a regular contributor to FiLife, a personal finance site that is packed full of good information, interesting blog posts and a welcoming community.  Check out my first post there:  6 Ways to Save While Shopping Online.

I was also picked to participate in this week’s Festival of Frugality at Yes, I’m Cheap.  There are some really great posts here – be sure to check them out!
