Another Thanksgiving is here, and whenever this particular holiday rolls around, I like to reflect on the things that are important to me.
And here’s the thing. The stuff that is important to me isn’t stuff.
The things that matter most to me is having the love of family and friends, decent health, and the ability to use my mind and body to do what I want.
I love that I am able to be home with my children and yet be able to help other people through this blog. I’m starting my third year of blogging, and I am amazed at all of the wonderful people I have met and experiences I have had. I’ve learned so much, and yet, I am blessed because I have so much more to learn. I am very thankful for all of you.
I hope that you’ll take the time this weekend to think about the things that are important to you. And I hope you’ll think about ways that I can help you on your financial journey.
In the upcoming weeks, I encourage you to share your ideas for Northern Cheapskate via e-mail, Twitter, or Facebook. What types of things do you want to see more of? More coupons? More online deals? More frugal living how-to posts? What do you want to see less of? What questions about frugal living or saving money do you have?
Whenever I reflect on what I’m thankful for, I always feel a need to pay it forward. Help me pay it forward to you!
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
