Win a Cook's Ham for the Holidays! (2 winners!)
I love ham. It's tasty, easy to prepare and makes for super leftovers.
I recently got a chance to try a Cook's SuperTrim Whole Ham, and it was delicious! All I did was bake it up and it turned out so tender and not too salty. It had a great hickory-smoked flavor. It was a huge ham - 20 pounds - and we had some family over to help us eat it. We gorged ourselves on the ham, but there's still a lot leftover. That's one of the things I love about ham: A little bit of ham goes a long way! I'll be making some ham and bean soup, ham sandwiches, omelets, and then I'll be freezing the remainder in one and two cup portions to use in recipes during the upcoming busy holiday season. I'm looking forward to using some of the yummy recipes at the Cook's Ham website.
And thanks to Cook's Ham, I'll be giving a coupon for a free Cook's Ham to two lucky winners!
The coupons are good for one free Cook's Ham up to $30. (My 20 pound ham was $27.72 at my local supermarket). You can use the coupon on Cook's Bone-in Hams and Ham Steaks, Cook's Spiral Sliced Hams and Cook's Corned Beef Brisket.
The best part is that this coupon doesn't expire until 12/31/2011 so if you don't want to use it for the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday, you can save it for Easter or another family gathering.

This would be great to win since we are hosting 23 people for Thanksgiving this year. We thought it would be good to have a ham and a turkey. I checked and they sell hams at Walmart Supercenter and Winn Dixie near us. Thanks for the opportunity!

This would be a great thing for us this year. We are traveling to my daughter's and son-in-laws before Thanksgiving. She is due to make me a granny again around that time frame. There will be tons of people in and out and a large ham would be great to serve and as you did, use for lots of leftovers.
I've got a post up for you and linked my readers over to you.
