The year 2009 brought many great experiences for Northern Cheapskate.  Northern Cheapskate celebrated its second year with more than 500 posts on coupons, deals, and frugal living.

I was blessed with the opportunity to meet some of my favorite bloggers in 2009, read some great books, and make some exciting connections for 2010.

This blog started out as a hobby, but now it has become a passion.  I’m grateful for all of you who inspire me and encourage me each and every day.  This blog would not be what it is today without all of you.

I’d like to take this time to share with you some of the highlights of 2009 here at Northern Cheapskate.
