Search & WinSwagbucks is celebrating it’s 2nd birthday by spoiling new and current users with lots of swag!

Swagbucks is one of my very favorite tools for stretching my budget because you can earn gift cards, cash, and other goodies just by searching the internet.

I’ve used Swagbucks to shop for Christmas gifts and to finance my new refrigerator. The more you use it and the more you refer people to Swagbucks, the more you can earn. It’s free and easy and it works!

So how are they going to spoil you on their birthday?

New members.  Sign up for Swagbucks (it’s FREE!) between now and and 6 a.m. (PST) on March 4 and you’ll start your account with 60 Swagbucks when you use the code NORTHERNBLOG1 (note: the code is case sensitive). Normally, you only get 20 Swagbucks for signing up, so this is a great deal!

Existing members.  If you’ve already been a part of Swagbucks, you’ll see some great improvements to the Swagbucks home page and Swag Store in honor of their 2nd birthday.  You’ll see more opportunities to win Swagbucks from the Swagbucks toolbar and by viewing their “No Obligation” special offers.

The biggest news is that the value of Swagbucks is changing.  Each of your current Swagbucks will be worth 10 Swagbucks.  Instead of earning one Swagbuck at a time, you’ll have lots of opportunities to earn 10 to 20 Swagbucks at a time. The prices on prizes will also change by the same increments, so a $5 Amazon gift card that used to cost 45 Swagbucks will now cost 450 Swagbucks.

Swagbucks is also launching the Swagstakes Portal where you can win one of a dozen on-going sweepstakes. Prizes to given away during the launch include $100 Amazon gift cards, a 32″ Sony Bravia TV, an Amazon Kindle, and Apple iPod Touch,  a Flip Ultra HD Camera, and more.

Lots of chances to win. Swagbucks will be giving away a lot of Swag Codes (good for Swagbucks) on their blog, Twitter, and Facebook page, throughout their birthday celebration, so be sure to watch for those opportunities to earn some free loot!

Disclosure:  When you sign up for Swagbucks through the links in this e-mail, I earn additional Swagbucks. I greatly appreciate your support and want to remind you that once you’ve signed up, you should refer your friends and family to Swagbucks so that you can earn extra swag, too!
