It doesn’t matter if you’re a kid or a grown-up: It’s good to break out of the old routine once in awhile!

It’s even better when you can find something free, too!  Here are a few freebies for younger kids:

Do your kids enjoy Highlights Magazine?  Then they’ll love all of the free games and printables at HighlightsKids.com.

Download more than 30 free songs from Sprout.

Nick Jr. has an extensive collection of printable charts, calendars, and certificates to motivate and encourage your child.

MEGA Brand toys (maker of MEGA Blocks) has a great collection of free activities to inspire the builder and artist in your child.  I love that you can search the collection by type of activity, estimated amount of time needed and age group.

If Legos are more your kids’ thing, sign them up for a free subscription to Club Lego Magazine.  There is also a Club Lego Jr. Magazine for kids ages 6 and younger.

Looking for an Easter-themed craft?  Check out these adorable Easter projects from Living Locurto.

If you’re looking to learn some simple sign language to help your child communicate better, check out the American Sign Language browser from Michigan State University.  This site was recommended to me by a speech therapist and I’ve found it to be helpful.

Jane4Girls just shared that kids in Indianapolis and Chicago can see a free screening of the movie How to Train Your Dragon.
