As a single person I get frustrated by coupons that make you have to buy more than 1 item to get the amount off. I rarely need 2 packs of lunch meat or 5 frozen dinners at once. I'd much rather have a .50/1 coupon than a $1/2.

I get really upset when I get to a store to do a deal and they tell me some one came in first thing and took all of the product they had in stock.I try to never take all of a sale item unless they have just enough to do a deal and I think it is rude for people to be greedy.

I totally agree with the lotion, detergent etc one! My mom always would cut the tube of lotion in half and then we would take some out with our finger :) She would then just overlap the two halves to put it back together......you really can get just about every bit of lotion out that way!

Sometimes I hate that I can't just walk into a store and throw x, y and z into my cart without a thought and just buy them :) I always plan my trips and almost everything is on sale and/or I have a coupon for it. Sometimes I'm a little envious of the carefree shoppers just getting whatever.....Sometimes :D

I love this list, and I LOVE your blog! This post had me nodding my head in agreement plus giggling at myself for being such a stereotypical frugalite.

I know I get uptight about a lot of money stuff, but this reminds me that I'm not alone in my pursuit of trying to pinch every penny!

The fact that my local grocery stores don't accept online coupons makes me grumpy. One does have a lot of coupons on their website you can print, but they're pretty small amounts.

Oh, yeah, and stuff that breaks! I returned a ptchfork I broke within 30 minuted of bringing it home. The guy at the counter called the manager because I had gotten the pitchfork when I returned a pickaxe I broke within an hour of getting it home. He couldn't believe a 51 year old woman could have broken them, but they were terrible! I did get my $ back, but nothing for the 75 miles I drove dealing with their crummy tools.

Being charged $100+ just to have an electrician/plumber/etc. show up at your place and look at something, even if he/she doesn't fix the problem.

I guess that's not really a cheapskate issue, it's more of an 'everbody' issue.
mgz

I have a long list, but I thought I would give you advice on forgetting to use a coupon - also high on my list. Once I was at Target and they hit the total button before my coupons. (She said she couldn't go back; not sure it was true...) She sent me to customer service where they gladly accepted my coupon with receipt and gave me cash. I've done this at the grocery store too! Walmart has been the worst about this one, but the woman still did it!
