What the Cheapskate Is Reading

Have I mentioned how little time I’ve had to do any reading? Where does the time go?

Anyway… here are a few posts I’ve been reading over the past week or so:

Looking to trim from your budget? Money Saving Blog challenges you to Quit the Gym in March.

I enjoyed Frugality and Moving On to New Values at The Simple Dollar.  It really makes you think about the stuff you’re hanging on to.

I’m so guilty of over-complicating things.  Just ask my husband.  I always over-analyze to the point where it is hard to get things done, so I really enjoyed Stop Making It Complicated at mnmlist.com.

The largest city closest to where I live (Duluth, MN) is competing for a chance to be a test site for Google’s new Fiber Optics program – which would mean getting an ultra-high speed fiber optic network 100 times the speed of current U.S. internet connections.   Even though I’m 90 miles away from Duluth – I’m psyched about the prospect of super fast internet… and  I LOVE the competitive good humor the City of Duluth is showing. Please show some support for Duluth!
