One of my New Year’s resolutions was to try to be more environmentally friendly. One of the particular things I wanted to do was be consistent in my use of reusable shopping bags.
It definitely hasn’t been easy, but since I got an Esse Carryall Tote, I’ve made huge progress in remembering to use my reusable totes when I’m out shopping.
Esse Life is a Minnesota company that sells a wide variety of reusable totes. They recently sent me their Carryall Tote to review, and I was impressed!
The Carryall Tote is a small (and adorable) bag that can carry your reusable shopping bags – plus there are a couple of pockets for your coupons, wallet, etc. Inside the Carryall Tote, are three durable grocery bags that snap into an 8-inch square. One side pocket of the tote holds two reusable (and washable) produce bags. The other side pocket holds an Everyday bag – a compact, washable bag that holds the equivalent of two plastic bags. This is a great bag for throwing in your purse or jacket pocket when you’re making a quick shopping trip.
So you can bring 6 reusable bags into the store in a super cute tote! (Seven, if you use the tote all the bags come in!) There’s even room to tuck in a few extra bags for those big shopping trips.
I love the convenience factor of the Carryall Tote. And it looks so cute (I have the pine pattern) that it makes me want to bring it in the store with me.
I also like that these bags are strong and durable. The bags are made of recycled materials and are customized for Esse by a non-profit organization called Rebuild Resources, which provides employment and guidance to people who are trying to turn their life around after battling an addiction.
I’ve used the Carryall Tote for about a month now and I’m impressed with how much they hold and how well they are holding up. I’m planning to buy another Carryall Tote so that I can have one for each vehicle.
