With three busy boys under then age of 5, it’s a race to fix dinner every night. I’m always looking for quick recipes made with simple ingredients.
And sometimes, I’ll even bend my “cheapskate” tendencies to splurge on convenience foods. My rationale is that buying a convenience food item (like bagged salad for example), may cost more money, but if it means we’re not eating fast food for dinner, it’s okay.
I recently got a chance to try the frozen Tyson Grilled & Ready Grilled Chicken Breast Strips. While you do pay for the convenience (about $7 at my local Wal-Mart), they were tasty and I loved how versatile they were. I put together a delicious quick meal with just half of the bag of grilled chicken, pasta sauce, and spaghetti in just a few minutes.
Tyson Grilled and Ready Frozen and Refrigerated Chicken Fillets and Strips are fully cooked, 98 percent fat-free, and have no preservatives. There are five flavors to choose from and would make a great addition to soups, salads, wraps, and pasta dishes. They’ve also added a seasoned beef strips option to their product line.
