I’m starting to feel like spring might really be here in Minnesota.  Like we may actually be eating outside at our new patio table any day now.  Or I should be staining my deck since the new furniture makes it look bad.

I hope I’m not taunting any snow gods right now.

Anyway, I hope you all are having a great weekend.  Here are some things I’ve been reading this week.

It is so hard for us cheapskates to part with things because we might need them someday.  I found myself relating to possessions! = security at mnmlist.

There are some things people just don’t get until they experience them firsthand – like parenthood.  I loved the the post 8 Things People Never Tell You About Having Kids at Zen Family Habits.

My kids produce mountains of art.  Luckily Tanna from Complete Organizing Solutions wrote this guest post at SC Johnson: Four Tips for Organizing Your Child’s Artwork.

My friend (and fellow Minnesotan) Carrie at Pocket Your Dollars has a great post (and video) on How to Purge Expired Coupons.

Wise Bread has an interesting idea for Sunscreen Savings: How to Spend 50 Percent Less Without Even Trying.

The Simple Dollar has some great tips for getting rid of stuff you don’t need in The Stuff Rich People Throw Away is Often Better Than the Stuff I Keep.

Happy reading!
