What the Cheapskate is Reading

You ever have one of those weeks where you just keep treading water but never get to swim?  That’s kind of how the past week went for me.   The problem is that I think too much sometimes.  I need to “do” more.

So while you’re reading these articles that made me think, hopefully I’ll be out “doing” something!

Throughout the week I’ve written several “Green” posts in honor of Earth Week. But I still find myself relating to 4 Ways I Haven’t Gone Green at Moneywise Moms.  There are some things I just don’t do – even though they would be greener or more frugal.

I keep track of my pennies (and now that I’m on Weight Watchers, my points, too).  But I love the ideas behind Why I No Longer Track Every Penny I Spend at Get Rich Slowly.

Wise Bread reminds of us of 3 Reasons Why Keeping Your “Latte Factor” Will Help You Save Money.

I love coupons and I believe that if they’re used wisely, they can save you a lot of money.  Despite my pro-coupon stance here at Northern Cheapskate, I enjoyed reading Your Coupons Are Making You Poor at Frugal Dad.

The Simple Dollar has an answer to the question Does Rewashing Ziploc Bags Really Save You Money?

And finally… if you don’t read anything else today, read The Only Thing You Can Change from mnmlist.

Thanks for the link! I read Frugal Dad's post too and wasn't sure how to respond. I know that coupons aren't for everyone, but with a little bit of a learning curve, they can definitely save a LOT of money. They certainly are for me!
