Home Depot will be hosting a free Kids Workshop Saturday, August 7 between 9 a.m. and noon at all of its stores.

Your child will be able to get ready for school when he or she makes this cute school bus pencil organizer.

The workshops are geared toward children ages 5-12. The goal is to teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety while building confidence, and of course, having fun!

Each child receives a free project kit, kid-sized orange apron, and, upon completion of their project, an achievement pin.

The Home Depot Kids Workshops are offered the first Saturday of the month. For more information on the Kids Workshops visit Home Depot.

I would like to order that I didn’t get to bring my daughter to the workshop I left to go out of town.

@ Roseanne – Sometimes you can order the kits online, but check with your local store first. If they have leftover kits, they may be willing to give you one. It’s worth a try, anyway!
