Swagbucks Helped Buy My Fridge

I’ve been wanting a new, more energy efficient refrigerator for nearly a year now.

I’ve been watching the sales, saving my pennies, and taping parts of my fridge door back on, just waiting for the right opportunity to come along.

And then I realized that I could use Swagbucks to help me get my fridge, and started hoarding those like crazy.

I cashed in enough Swagbucks in August to get two, $50 Lowe’s E-gift cards, and then used them during Lowe’s Labor Day Weekend Sale. I was able to purchase a $660 refrigerator for only $464 (with sales tax) out of pocket. They’ll delivery my new fridge and haul away the old one for free!

I was able to use the electronic gift card codes in the Lowe’s store – I just printed it off my computer and showed it to the clerk and she entered them in without any problems.

I wanted to share this handy little Swagbucks tip with you because I know some of you may be working on home improvements or want to buy new appliances, and would like the option of shopping in the store instead of online.

Not all e-gift card codes will work this way. Check the terms of how to redeem the e-codes before you go shopping.
