Kellogg's Scholastic Book Giveaway Note: This giveaway is now closed.  See who won here and be sure to check out other giveaways you can enter.

The experts say that everyone should eat breakfast every day.  And they also say that kids should be reading every day.

That’s why I’m excited to see that Kellogg’s has teamed up with Scholastic Book Clubs to encourage both of these smart habits!

Your child can choose a free Scholastic book (a $5 value) when you buy specially-marked packages of Kellogg’s products at Walmart.

Just purchase the specially-marked packages (Find the complete list here) and enter the codes online to receive a coupon code good for a free Scholastic book.

This promotion has been a big deal at our house.  My boys absolutely love picking out their own books from Scholastic and I like that I can encourage them to read just by making purchases I already make.   I like knowing that my kids are getting a balanced breakfast and quality reading materials that appeal to all them.

Explore other ways you can encourage kids to read at home every day and you’ll see kids at the breakfast table who are excited about learning.

Kellogg’s and Scholastic Book Clubs would also like to jumpstart literacy in your home with a little giveaaway.

You can win a Kellogg’s In-Home Reading Kit (a $30 value).  This prize includes Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes cereal, Kellogg’s Raisin Bran cereal, Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain bars, Cheez-It Crackers, Keebler Cookies or Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats, and an assortment of Scholastic books. Sweet treats for the mind and body!

Kellogg’s does some fun promotions. We’re still using their Olympics-themed cereal bowls from this summer. (They were free with purchase at our grocery store.)
