My heart goes out to all of those bracing for the impact of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast. I hope that you have done all you can to be prepared for natural disasters. A natural disaster – especially one of this magnitude can cause put incredible stress on emotions and finances.
We’ve gone through our share of winter storms and this summer a thunderstorm taught us the importance of preparing for a power outage. But we’ve never faced a natural disaster of the level that’s being predicted for the millions of people living on the East Coast.
It is my sincerest hope that Hurricane Sandy is more hype than hurricane, but I also recognize that hope is not a strategy. The best strategy for surviving natural disasters is to have a strategy!
