As a self-proclaimed cheapskate, I have a hard time with Halloween: Spending all that money on costumes and candy for one night of merriment is hard for me to swallow. But the kids love Halloween, and I love seeing them happy, so I've found ways to save money on kids Halloween costumes: Ask around.
