If you’ve ever had dogs, you’ve probably tried to figure out how to keep dogs from digging.

We own a Cairn terrier, so we understand finding holes in the backyard.  (Terrier owners, you can nod your heads in agreement!)

We have discovered a cheap trick that seems to stop the digging.

When you discover your lovely pet has started to dig, remove the canine from the spot.  Then sprinkle the area liberally with cayenne pepper.  I buy organic cayenne pepper from Amazon solely for this purpose.

Dogs don’t like getting the cayenne pepper in their noses when they dig and will leave the spot alone!
