I always encourage people to check their receipts. Sometimes items ring up incorrectly, discounts aren’t taken, or there is some other error.

But you should also be checking the BACK of your receipts – especially at grocery stores. Many receipts have coupons on the back. You can use these to save on everything from haircuts to bowling. At the very least, you can often read a store’s return policy.
