One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to plan a menu. We’re heading into February and I’ve made a meal plan every week… and followed it…. most of the time.
I will admit that I could use a little help. E-book author Jamie Ussher must have sensed my struggle. She recently sent me a copy of her e-book, “Month of Meals.”
Month of Meals is an easy-to-read 71-page e-book that starts at the very basics of why you should meal plan and how to begin.
The e-book includes one whole month’s worth of meals planned out for you – right down to the ingredients you’ll need, the recipes, and how to shop for them without breaking the bank. It’s perfect for people who have no clue where to start with menu planning. Ussher outlines ideas for nutritional meals and even has a checklist for making sure you’re getting all your fruits, veggies, grains, etc., as you plan your weekly menu.
What I enjoyed about this book is that it doesn’t compromise health for the sake of frugality. She even includes tips for how to get your kids to eat healthy!
Ussher offers some frugal living tips and explains how menu planning and living frugally can have a positive impact on the world around us.
You can purchase Month of Meals for just $6.95. If you feel you already have the menu-planning thing down, you can also check out Ussher’s blog Baby Get Green. When you sign up for her free monthly highlights newsletter, you will also receive an e-course on budget meal planning.
