Free Home Depot Kids Workshop: Mini-Crate Pencil Holder

Sharpen those pencils and get ready for school with this fun kids’ project at Home Depot this weekend.

Kids can make a free mini-crate pencil holder at the free Home Depot Kids Workshop  this Saturday, August 2, 2014, between 9 a.m. and noon at all of its stores.

The Kids Workshops are geared toward children ages 5-12. The goal is to teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety while building confidence, and of course, having fun!

Each child receives a free project kit, kid-sized orange apron, and, upon completion of their project, an achievement pin.

The Home Depot Kids Workshops are offered the first Saturday of the month. For more information on the Kids Workshops visit Home Depot.

I’m not sure. Check with the Home Depot website. They sometimes sell kits. Your local Home Depot may also have leftover kits, too, so it wouldn’t hurt to check.
