Kids in Grades 1-6 can get a free book from Barnes and Noble when they participate in the Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Program.
- Read any eight books this summer and record them in your Barnes and Noble Journal.
- Bring your completed Journal to a Barnes & Noble store between between May 24 and September 6, 2011
- Choose your free book from the book list on the back of the journal. Your name will be automatically entered in a sweepstakes to win an autographed book.
There is a limit of one book per child. Barnes and Noble also has some activity sheets for parents to guide their children.
In addition to the free book for your child, parents can enter to win a Nook Color.
This is a great way to get your kids reading over summer vacation and to add a new book to your children’s library.
If you’re planning to buy some books for your child’s summer reading, be sure to sign up for the Barnes & Noble Kids Club to save on your purchases.
