My Monster Burrufu is written by Alberto Corral – a Dreamworks animation artist whose work includes Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Madagascar.  Corral tells the story of an unlikely friendship between Olivia, who has just moved to a new house, and Burrufu, the monster who lives there.

This book has a lot of great reviews and is currently the top children’s book for ages 9-12 on Amazon.
