Your children won’t want to miss out on the next Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic!
This weekend is the first of a three-part series of free workshops to build a train.
The series starts with a cute train caboose that your child can make for free on Saturday, December 3 at 10 a.m. at participating Lowe’s stores. Then your child can build the next two parts of the train in later workshops.
My twins were too little to do this project last year and were incredibly jealous of their older brother’s finished train. We’ll be sure to get there early so they don’t miss out on this free project.
You should sign up in advance for these free workshops, and a parent must be present at the workshop with the child.
Each workshop runs about an hour and is geared toward kids in first through fifth grade. Many of the projects are completed in much less than an hour. My boys have gone since they were four and they do fine with dad’s help. They always have a blast at these workshops and it’s fun to see how proud my boys are of their projects!!
The first 50 kids to sign up for each workshop will get a free kit and work apron. Kids also get a badge and certificate when they complete their project.
Can’t make this workshop? Check out Lowe’s Build and Grow to see what other projects are being planned.
