Free Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic: Train Engine

By Justin Weinger 2 Comments

Train Engine project at Lowe'sThe young train enthusiast in your family is going to love this project at Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinic.

Kids will be able to build a free train engine at the Lowe’s on Saturday, December 17 at 10 a.m.  This is the third part of a three-part train series, so if you’ve been to the last two clinics, this is one you won’t want to miss!

You can sign up in advance for these free workshops or at the store. A parent must be present at the workshop with the child.

Each workshop runs about an hour and is geared toward kids in first through fifth grade. Many of the projects are completed in much less than an hour. My boys have gone since they’ve were four and they do fine with dad’s help. They always have a blast at these workshops and it’s fun to see how proud my boys are of their projects!!

The first 50 kids to sign up for each workshop will get a kit, work apron, and safety goggles for free. Kids also get a badge and certificate when they complete their project.

Can’t make this workshop? Check out Lowe’s Build and Grow to see what other projects are being planned.

This assumes that you have no problem with Lowe’s condoning anti-Muslim bigotry.

I respect what you’re saying, Ross, but this isn’t really the place for this discussion. We share the Lowe’s workshops regularly because they are a fun, free activity for children. Any problems with Lowe’s corporate decisions should be taken up with them or in more appropriate forums.
