People are always asking “What would you do with an extra hour?” Well, we got that this weekend for those of us who saw the end of Daylight Savings Time.
And I, for one, would love to spend that hour reading about frugal living ideas, so I thought I’d share some of my favorites with you.
First off, I must say I’m very excited to welcome Leaving Excess back to the blogosphere! Michelle took a brief hiatus from blogging, and I truly missed her! Quality writing and good solid frugal living ideas. Can’t beat that!
One of my favorite things I’ve read lately is a little bit of an older post, but well worth a read. Check out “Stop Feeling Sorry for Me: I’m Frugal Not Broke” at Frugal Dad. I’m sure many of you can relate to this post. I know I did!
I read Sense To Save’s post “Is Being Underpaid Better than No Paycheck At All?” with great interest. With many college graduates facing a tough job market, some grads are having to settle for less than what they’re worth.
I know more than a few workaholics… be sure to have them read “Is Your Work Too Important?” at The Simple Dollar.
And finally, be sure to check out this week’s Festival of Frugality at Gather Little By Little. Excellent stuff!
