Update: One of my readers said the envelope was too small to mail in the US. Anyone else have this problem? I’m thinking you could save it as a PDF and then enlarge it before printing… but you may want to check the measurements before you put a stamp on it!
Before the days of e-mail, I remember how much I looked forward to checking the mail each day. I loved seeing the familiar handwriting from a friend or family member in my inbox.
I have a few friends who even shared their talent by decorating the outside of the envelopes with artwork and designs.
Today’s freebie find is for those of you who like to send personal notes.
Map Envelope is where Google technology meets snail mail. You enter in an address and Map Envelope will create an envelope template that you can print, cut out, and turn into a very personalized mailing envelope.
It’s totally free and the end product is pretty neat – a mailing envelope lined with a google aerial map of the location of your choice. You can even had a personalized message.
I think this would be sweet to use for someone who is homesick or a fun way to send invite folks for a party.
