On my counter sits a bamboo file holder that holds some key items to our household management.
There’s a folder for bills to pay, a folder for each child’s school paperwork, and a folder of things I need to file in our file cabinet. This file holder system works well when I stay on top of cleaning it out.
After Reading Michelle’s post on getting organized with a family binder, I realized I needed something more than just my current system. I now see that having a binder with the critical info you need at your fingertips like frequently called phone numbers and school info can save a ton of time. And as you know, time is money!
So I’ve started working on my own binder using the home management printables I found at Life… Your Way.
Life…Your Way has more than 300 printables you can download to your computer for FREE. You can find printables to help you manage your home, plan for the holidays, set goals, declutter, and more!
Each individual printable is free, or if you want to save time and get all the printables at once, you can download the complete set for just $7.
When you buy the complete set, you’ll get all the Life..Your Way printables published to date, organized by folder. You’ll also get free monthly email updates with any new or updated printables.
The printables are making this binder project of mine much less tedious and much more attractive. My binder will include important phone numbers, medical info, our weekly menu plan, as well as some basic info on budgets, banking, etc.
My goal with this binder is not only to make my life easier, but also to make it easier for my family members if something were to happen to me. They would be able to find important info in this binder that would help them figure out what days the kids go where, etc.
Simple organization can save so much time, stress and money.
