The month of May is always an insanely busy month for our family. So, despite my cheapskate tendencies, I decided to hold my son’s birthday party at a pizza/video game place. It was expensive, but it was oh-so-convenient! And our son had a great time with his friends.
His actual birthday was last Saturday and after he opened his birthday presents, I decided to upload pictures from our digital camera.
I’m not sure exactly how it happened, but I accidentally erased all of the photos off my digital camera.
Yep… Not only did I throw an overpriced birthday party. I no longer had any photographic evidence of the event. I panicked. I got teary eyed. And then I turned to my old pal Google.
What I discovered was that all was not lost. Just because the photos appeared to be deleted from the camera did not mean they were gone forever. I learned how to recover deleted photos from my digital camera. A simple free download, and I was able to recover all 216 photos that were on the camera!
I’ve learned my lesson. I need to be careful when I’m transferring photos. And I need to back up my photos more frequently. And I need to remember to stay calm when faced with an unexpected surprise. By staying calm, I was able to find a solution that was both simple and free.
Have you ever accidentally deleted photos?
