Sometimes it’s not about having the right coupon or finding the right sale. Sometimes who you are may get you discounts. That is especially true this week.
If you’re a veteran or currently on active military duty, there are several Veterans Day freebies and deals in your honor. Here’s a sampling:
Veterans Day 2015 Freebies and Deals
- Get a haircut at Great Clips on Wednesday, November 11, and you’ll get a card good for a free hair cut for any veteran. If you are a veteran, just stop in and show your military i.d. to get a card good for a free haircut. Free haircut card must be redeemed by 12/31/14.
- Veterans and active military duty will eat free at Applebee’s restaurants on Wednesday, November 11. during regular business hours. You must show valid veteran or active military duty identification to get your choice of one of seven free entrees.
- Denny’s is offering free build-your-own Grand Slam breakfast to anyone with a valid military i.d. on Wednesday, November 11 between 5 a.m. and 12 p.m.
- Golden Corral will hold its Military Appreciation Monday dinner on Wednesday, November 11 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m in all Golden Corral restaurants nationwide. The free meal is a special thank you tribute to veterans and currently active members of the military.
- On Wednesday, November 11, veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free entree at Olive Garden. Additional guests will receive 10 percent off their meal.
- Veterans and active military members can enjoy free lunch at Texas Roadhouse on Wednesday, November 11.
- All active duty military and veterans receive 50% off at Pizza Ranch Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13.
- Everyone gets free entrance to a US National Park on Tuesday, November 11.
- All active duty military, veterans and their families can receive an 11% discount on all qualifying purchases at Dollar General on Wednesday, November 11.
- Home Depot and Lowe’s offer 10% discounts to all veterans and active military year round!
