Spring is here! If spring rains have you stuck inside, go ahead and indulge yourself with a little frugal reading.
Here’s some of what I’ve been reading lately:
In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a bit of an Amazon.com junkie. That’s why I have enjoyed Shopping Secrets: 6 Tips to Saving Big at Amazon at Baby Cheapskate. I’m looking forward to the other posts in her Shopping Secrets series.
I think a lot about how much of our income should go to different areas of our budget, so I enjoyed 5 Money Ratios to Live By at Wise Bread.
I recently had an experience in which my son expressed something less than gratitude for a gift. I read Ugly Attitudes of Entitlement at Mary Hunt’s blog Money Rules, Debt Stinks! and learned a few things we could do with our children to avoid entitlement issues.
I’m not big on frilly, pampering kinds of stuff, but if you are, and you’re looking to save some money, you should read Bath Goodies from Your Kitchen at It’s Frugal Being Green.
Want to save money but don’t know how to haggle? Read How to Ask for Discounts at Five Cent Nickel.
It always seems like there are never enough hours in the day, so I appreciated Incredibly Obvious Tips to Save You Time at Unclutterer.
And finally, my husband and I both struggle with purging things, and our bulging closets are a good indicator of that struggle. Mandi at Organizing Your Way has a great post on Making Space for the Sentimental.
