Well, we’re already more than a week into the new year, and so far I’ve stayed on top of my resolution to be more physically active. Unfortunately, the real weight loss won’t happen until I start addressing my diet, too. Oh, but chocolate is so very good.
I hope your New Year is off to a great start. Here are a few posts worth a look this week:
Speaking of exercising, Wise Bread has a great post on Exercising in a Winter Wonderland that will help you stay fit and frugal during the long winter months.
Get Rich Slowly warns of the dangers of “paradebt” in My $132,683 Comcast Bill. This post will make you re-think those non-essentials.
Save Green Being Green is doing a Month-Long Pantry Challenge. I love that she’s already mapped out her challenges. That’s a sure sign she’ll do great. I did a similar Eat from the Pantry challenge last year and learned a lot.
PT Money hosted the Festival of Frugality this week, and included a post from Northern Cheapskate. I love the way he’s organized this great collection of money-saving posts.
Northern Cheapskate was also included in a list of the Top 39 Mommy Bloggers for Saving Your Money. I’m not very fond of the term “Mommy Bloggers.” Okay, I really despise it, but there are some great sites mentioned here that are worth checking out.
