This has been the busiest October that I can remember in a long time! I guess that’s good, because it helps keep me out of trouble, right?
Just wanted to give you all a heads up: The Twin Cities Family Community at Blog Frog will be holding a Twitter Party on Tuesday, October 26 from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. CST. I hope you’ll all join us… there will be fabulous prizes involved!
Here are few things I think you’ll find worth reading this week:
How many of you have stuff stored in boxes waiting to list on eBay or sell at a garage sale? (You can’t see me, but I’m waving my hand in the air). Read Giving Away, Not Selling My Stuff at Get Rich Slowly, and perhaps you’ll be inspired to really tackle that clutter once and for all.
If you are pretty savvy at couponing, you’ve probably amassed an admirable (or disturbing) amount of free or cheap toothpaste. Read 10 Ways to Use all That Free Toothpaste – Other than Brushing Your Teeth at The Coupon “High.”
I love peeking inside other people’s pantries and freezers (with permission, of course!) I also like it when they share their ideas for what things you should have on hand. Read the Freezer Staples List at $5 Dinners.
I always have a running list of ideas (in a little notebook and in my head) and one of them was How to Save Money on Legos. I gave up up the idea of writing it when I saw that Gina at Moneywise Moms has put together an entire fabulous SERIES about living In a Lego House. I highly recommend you read all of the posts in the series. It’s full of great advice from a mom who knows.
